Summary of Work History: Moving to Cairns in the late eighties presented an opportunity to start at the ground level with some of the major International hotel and resort chains moving in to the Far North Queensland region and Senga commenced at the newly opened Ramada Reef Resort as Guest Relations Manager. Senga joined the Radisson Group when it moved into Australia in 1988.  She was on the opening team for both Radisson Royal Palms Port Douglas and the flagship Radisson Plaza Hotel in Cairns. Senga was then appointed Director of Sales and Marketing in Cairns, responsible for the relevant activities in both domestic and international markets.  In 1995 Senga was awarded Sales Person of the Year for the Radisson group in Australia. In 1996 she was approached to take up the role of Manager Sales and Marketing at the new Reef Hotel Casino.  Once again she was a member of the opening team, fulfilling that role for two years.  Senga then took up the position of Regional Manager for Ansett Airlines.  With a strong sales, marketing and commercial background behind her, this experience served her well in growing the commercial and corporate base for the airline.   With the closure of Ansett in 2001, Senga revisited her teaching degree and lectured in tourism marketing at James Cook University. In 2002, Senga joined the foremost regional advertising and communications agency, Adpower as an Account Executive.  She was subsequently promoted to Account Director with six direct report staff. Senga joined The 20/20 Group in January 2007, and brings with her extensive experience in sales and marketing and branding, in addition to business strategy and planning. Other: Senga holds a Bachelor of Education, a Diploma in teaching and is a  board member of the Tropical North Queensland TAFE.
