Summary of Work History: Tracey’s near 20 year career includes experience in both public and private sector organisations.  Beginning her working life as an undergraduate with Price Waterhouse, she completed her tertiary qualifications while gaining invaluable experience on small business clients. She progressed through the ranks of Price Waterhouse and completed her professional qualifications with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1998.  During the eight years with PW, Tracey worked on both small business and corporate clients, undertook taxation consulting, business reviews and audit work.  She was also seconded to work at the Cairns Port Authority for three months to undertake a fixed asset accounting project. Upon completion of her professional qualifications, Tracey, took two years leave of absence and headed to London for the work/travel experience.  While in London, Tracey worked in temporary roles with leading multi-national companies including NEC and Data General.  These roles were financial and management accounting based.  Returning home to Cairns, Tracey, was asked to re-join the newly merged PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Tax Manager where she was responsible for taxation consulting for large corporate clients as well as GST reviews and training for both corporate and government clients. In 2001, an opportunity arose for Tracey to move into the private sector and take up the role of Financial Controller firstly for the Raging Thunder Adventures Group (until June 2004) and then for the Down Under Tours Group (until May 2010).  These roles allowed Tracey to utilise her accounting training, together with gaining valuable experience in the financial management of corporate entities and invaluable experience in the local tourism market. Tracey joined The 20/20 Group in May 2010. Other: Tracey holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a Chartered Accountant, holding current membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She is president of the Rotary Club of Cairns and vice-chair of the Management Committee of Worklink Employment Support Group Inc.
